Let me tell you what happened.
It’s 10:23 p.m. A woman gets a text from a number she doesn’t recognize.
“I’m okay. Don’t tell Mom.”
Before she can answer, another message arrives:
“I need help.”
A man had just been in a car accident. He thought he was texting his sister.
But he had the wrong number.
She almost replied, “Wrong number.” Instead, she asked:
“Where are you?”
She wasn’t his sister. But she sent him a contact who could help—and kept texting until he got through.
His final text: “Thanks. And… please don’t tell Mom.”
Sometimes you need the right connection.
Sometimes YOU are the connection.
That’s why I put DO NOT SCAN THIS on my car: to meet people I might never meet otherwise.
And now you’re here.
